Hello HSC! Please take a moment to read our last newsletter of the school year before you leave for the summer.
Our Newsletter is our main form of communication to HSC families and is the best way to stay up to date on our current events.
REGISTRATION IS COMING
Registration is coming! Registration is DIFFERENT from enrollment. Enrollment is the process of letting us know that you are coming for the following year and selecting classes. Registration includes signing permissions, paying fees, submitting immunization records or exemptions, and filing LOI’s. This will go out in late July/early August and will also include details for how to get your students schedule.
Student schedules will be available at the beginning of August. Class Changes will be open shortly there afterwards. Our first day of school is August 23rd.

Ms. Paige will be running martial arts classes over the summer both, in person every Tuesday at HSC’s Westminster location (activity room) and on Zoom T, W, THs.

So... if you didn’t get enough of Ms. Paige as your 'crazy drill sergeant martial arts instructor' this past year then this is your lucky summer!

PREVIEW FOR NEXT YEAR
HSC is hopeful that we will be able to return to normal for the 2021 - 22 school year, at least in some capacity. One of the new and exciting things we wanted to offer this year, but was put on hold because of COVID, is the return of our field trips and the introduction of our community events! At this moment these events will be run by HSC staff, but we are hoping to open them up to parent volunteers in the future!
Our first two events will be our Back to School Social and our Dinosaur Ridge Field Trip in August. We will give more details about these when we get closer to the date, so please keep an eye out for that email in July!
PARENT’S CORNER
One of our HSC parents, Robin Dickinson (mom to Charlie and Eleanor), created a pre-med/human body curriculum for kids and wants to give the whole school free access for the summer! If you have a kid who loves science or is interested in a career in nursing/medicine/veterinary medicine, this is a great opportunity to let them explore. Let's also help out a member of our HSC family by sharing her program with friends and homeschool groups. Charlie has been at HSC since kindergarten and is in 6th grade now!
