Hello, students and families! My name is Kate Grigsby (Ms. Kate), and I am thrilled to be joining HSC as the new STEAM (Creative Design and Fun with Numbers) and Social Studies (Spanish) teacher. I have taught in various capacities for the past 20 years, including music, Spanish, theater, and lead first, second, and fourth grade. I have a bachelor’s degree from UNC in vocal music performance, as well as a Master’s in Education from Regis University. In addition to teaching, I love being outdoors and working in my garden, spending time with my daughter Ella and our many pets, and playing and listening to music. I’m looking forward to getting to know you!
