CLASSROOM NEWS!

Important Info from Ms. Antionette

Please send your updated immunization records, non-medical and medical exemption forms to me at aroybal@wwahomeschool.org if you haven't already done so. Thank you!

Musical Theatre and Playmakers Families

At this point in the semester all Musical Theatre and Playmakers should have a script and know their parts. This means it's a great time to start memorizing! Playmakers students perform at the end of this semester and Musical Theatre students perform the last week of April, but the sooner you start memorizing the better!

If you need help with memorization techniques or you're unsure of what your student should be working on please email Miss Hayley at hcotton@wwahomeschool.org as soon as possible!

I am so excited to have live performances again this year and I know with a little bit of practice at home everyone will be more than prepared!

Science

Just a reminder that Life Science (period 5 and 6) will be creating their own animal at the end of the semester. HSC will provide construction paper and tape. If your child would rather do a different craft, please send them to school with their supplies so they can work on their new animal during class. We will start working on our project the week of November 30th and will have them completed by Open House.

I'm Diggin' Science also needs toilet paper or paper towel rolls by 11/12.

Social Studies

Ms. Kim is collecting cardboard egg cartons until 10/29.

Leadership Class: During the whole month of October, the Leadership classes at HSC are collecting new or gently used SOCKS for our first ever SOCK DRIVE!

Each of our locations will have a collection box for the socks.

We have chosen to distribute the socks to a variety of shelters and agencies throughout the Denver area to help others in need.

Please help us warm feet, and warm hearts!

Deadline: October 31, 2021

For questions please email kross@wwahomeschool.org.

Art Market

HSC Art Market classes will be selling handmade bookmarks, key rings and squeezy stress balls during the Fall Carnival on Monday, October 25. Most items will be priced between 50 cents to $1.50. The money will go back into the Art program, so it is a good cause for HSC!! See you at the Fall Carnival!!
